Welcome to the first (hopefully only) CR Mafia elections of 2010!

We are currently seeking TWO (2) Global Moderators - These people are in charge of maintaining and monitoring community behavior at the thread level, alerting other admin/mod team members of issues requiring administrative action, and assisting in the decision-making of administrative and community actions.

What about a new Administrator? - I have decided that this position would be best appointed to a trusted individual whom I am personally comfortable with.

February 6 - Nominations Open: Candidates must be nominated by by three different people before they are accepted into the running. Individuals may nominate as many candidates as they wish. You may not nominate yourself. The current administration/moderation team reserve the right to review and accept candidates on an individual basis.

With the passing of time and the transition to a new decade, it is a given that the leadership of any community should change. Tonight I write to announce the resignation of Regy Rusty, administrator for CR Mafia for the last year or so since the website's inception.

Regy Rusty personally informed me via AIM that he must leave CRM behind, presumably for life's other pursuits. I thank him for the time he devoted to this community, as a member and as an administrator.

This also brings to mind the issue of the modest size of the administration/moderation team on CR Mafia, which currently stands at 1 administrator and 2 global moderators for the community, with 3 server administrators. This February marks the second anniversary of CR Mafia's first rounds; perhaps it is due time to elevate several long-standing members to positions of leadership?

I will most likely seek one new administrator and two or three new moderators.
